Isle of Wight Guild of Weavers Spinners and Dyers

The Isle of Wight Guild of Weavers, Spinners & Dyers meet monthly to share ideas, learn new skills and spin, weave and knit amongst friends.  We have experts in many different fibre crafts and love helping each other. It doesn't matter how experienced or inexperienced you are there is always something for you including help, tuition and guidance in all our disciplines.

During the winter months we meet at Rookley Community Hall, Highwood Lane Rookley, Isle of Wight, PO38 3NN.  In May, June and July we meet at the Wilberforce Hall, Brighstone.  There is no formal meeting in August.

Meetings start at 10.00 and finish at 4pm, they begin with a formal meeting followed by coffee, then there's either a workshop and/or a general spinning day.  Workshops are optional, sometimes it's just nice to have a day of your favourite craft.

During May, June and July there are lots of additional days spinning and exhibiting at shows and events around the Island.

Please see our 2017 Programme below for our meeting details
